We’re looking for a talented and passionate Chef Baker to join our onsite hospitality team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves creating high-quality baked goods and thrives in a fast-paced, creative kitchen environment.
In this varied role, you’ll produce delicious cakes and sweet treats for our onsite coffee shop, craft bespoke celebration cakes for customer orders, and support our Head Chef with light food preparation and salad bar service within our busy staff restaurant.
You’ll play an important part in delivering exceptional quality and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and efficiency in line with company health and safety policies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Be responsible for pastry production, producing cakes for our onsite coffee shop & bespoke celebration cakes.
Supporting the head chef with day to day running of the kitchen operation with basic food preparation and cooking
Supporting the restaurant service operation where required, always ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Staying updated with industry trend and developments, suggesting innovative ideas for production in conjunction with the head chef.
Ensuring all food and non-food specific health and safety policies are always adhered too.
Maintaining an efficient, clean and organised section within the kitchen environment.
